Specifications & Application Scenarios
Specifications: The AHW-101A is a surface-mount InSb Hall element in a reverse-mount SOT package. It offers a very high sensitivity with a Hall voltage range of 168-516mV at 20mA input. Its input and output resistances are low and symmetrical (240-550Ω), contributing to fast response. The offset voltage is tightly controlled at ±5mV. It is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C.
Application Scenarios: Its high output and SMT compatibility make it ideal for automated assembly in high-volume applications. It is widely used in brushless DC (BLDC) motor drives for high-efficiency appliances and cooling fans, providing precise commutation. It's also excellent for high-current shunt-based current sensors in power supplies and motor controllers, where its large signal minimizes amplification needs and improves signal integrity.
