It maintains the standard 0.5mA input drive and 1.2-1.4VDC LED Vf. A key characteristic is its slightly slower switching speed, with 800µs turn-on and 100µs turn-off times. It shares the same robust 2500Vrms isolation, high isolation resistance, SOP-4 package, and wide operating temperature range as other family members.
Application Scenarios: The higher Isc makes this device ideal for driving MOSFETs with larger input capacitances (Ciss) or for applications where a stronger gate charge pulse is needed. It is well-suited for use in photoelectric relays (PhotoMOS) requiring higher continuous current, for isolated sensor power switches, and in industrial control systems where the load requires a bit more drive strength, albeit with a trade-off in switching speed compared to the 8µA versions.
