Specifications & Application Scenarios

Specifications: The AMT6132 is an advanced 3D (Tri-axis) Omnipolar Hall Switch in a SOT23-3 package. It operates on 2.2-5V and consumes only 3µA. Its key innovation is independent sensing on all three axes (X, Y, Z). The X and Y axes have a Bop of ±20 Gauss (Brp ±10 Gauss), while the Z-axis has a Bop of ±13 Gauss (Brp ±8 Gauss). It operates from -40°C to 85°C. Application Scenarios: This enables sophisticated magnetic field vector detection. It is perfect for joystick and control lever position sensing in gaming and industrial HMIs, for detecting the orientation of a moving magnet in 3D space (e.g., in complex mechanical assemblies), and as a compact, low-power alternative to traditional 2D/3D magnetometers in interactive toys, robotics, and virtual reality peripherals.
